How Coalescing Air Filters Work
Coalescing filter media captures extremely small liquid aerosol droplets suspended
in the compressed air stream. As these droplets move through the filter media,
they combine into larger droplets that drain away from the air stream.
This filtration process helps reduce compressor oil aerosol, condensed water,
and fine particulate before compressed air reaches downstream equipment.
