Tube & Pipe Sight Glasses
ProAirSupply offers acrylic tube and pipe sight glasses for industrial vacuum,
pneumatic conveying, and material handling systems. Sight glasses provide a
visible section in the system so operators can quickly observe material moving
through the tubing or pipe.
The acrylic viewing tube is aligned with the adjoining tube or pipe to provide
a smooth material-flow transition. A stainless steel grounding strip is included
to help eliminate static buildup.

Tube Sight Glasses
Tube sight glasses are available for industrial vacuum tubing in sizes from
1-1/2 inch through 6 inch. Available tube wall configurations
include 16 gauge, 14 gauge, and 11 gauge depending on diameter.

Pipe Sight Glasses
Pipe sight glasses are available in sizes from 2 inch through 6 inch
for compatible industrial piping systems.
Pipe configurations are available in Schedule 5, Schedule 10,
Schedule 40, and Schedule 80. Standard pipe-end materials shown
include aluminum and carbon steel.
Acrylic Viewing Section
The acrylic sight glass provides a clear viewing area so material flow can
be checked without opening the vacuum or conveying system.
Standard sight glass dimensions include a 7-inch viewing area
and an overall length of 16 inches.
Grounding Strip for Static Control
Each sight glass includes a stainless steel grounding strip running across
the acrylic viewing section. The grounding strip is designed to help reduce
static buildup across the nonmetallic viewing area.
Tube & Pipe End Materials
Standard tube or pipe ends are manufactured from
aluminum or carbon steel depending on the selected
configuration.
Stainless steel and galvanized ends are available upon request.
Sight Glass Operating Temperature
These acrylic tube and pipe sight glasses are
not recommended for applications above 180°F.
Verify the operating temperature, tubing or pipe diameter, wall thickness,
and material before selecting a sight glass for your system.
