Industrial Chemical Hose Materials

Each material provides a different level of resistance to specific chemicals,
oils, solvents, acids, alkalis, fumes, and process materials.
Chemical Vacuum & Suction Hose
Chemical resistant vacuum and suction hoses are used where a flexible hose
must withstand negative pressure while remaining compatible with the material
being handled.
Many suction hoses use reinforcement to help prevent collapse during vacuum
service. Always confirm the hose vacuum rating along with chemical compatibility.
Chemical Fume & Vapor Hose
Flexible chemical-resistant ducting can be used for compatible fume, vapor,
exhaust, and ventilation applications. Hose selection should account for
chemical exposure, operating temperature, airflow, and flexibility requirements.
Abrasion & Chemical Resistance
Some applications require resistance to both chemicals and physical wear.

Static Control Considerations

static dissipative, static conductive, or grounded hose constructions.
Static-control requirements should be evaluated separately from chemical
resistance. A chemically compatible hose is not automatically suitable for
applications requiring conductive or static dissipative performance.
