Compressed Air Condensate Treatment
Compressed air systems generate condensate as moisture is removed from the
compressed air stream. Because compressor lubricant can also enter this
condensate, the resulting mixture may contain both water and oil.
Keltec KOWS separators are designed to separate these components so the oil
can be collected and the remaining water can be handled according to applicable
disposal requirements.
Mineral & Synthetic Compressor Oil Compatibility
The KOWS Series is designed for condensate containing
mineral oil or synthetic compressor oil. The correct separator
size should be selected according to compressor capacity, condensate volume,
oil type, and installation requirements.
Low-Maintenance Oil-Water Separation
KOWS units are designed for straightforward installation and maintenance.
Multiple inlet ports allow condensate from compatible system drains to be
directed into the separator for treatment.
Selected models, including the KOWS-250 and KOWS-400,
incorporate an oil storage box designed for collected oil.
