Compressed Air Filter Housings & Replacement Elements
ProAirSupply offers Keltec compressed air filter housings for industrial compressed air systems.
These housings are available in multiple NPT connection sizes and flow capacities for particulate,
general-purpose, oil removal, and activated carbon filtration applications.
Use the table below to compare housing connection sizes, rated airflow, maximum working pressure,
dimensions, and compatible replacement filter elements.
Important: Filter elements are not included with the filter housing and must be
ordered separately.
Compressed Air Filter Housing Specifications
Published flow rates are based on an operating pressure of 100 PSIG.
Dimensional references A through E correspond to the compressed air filter housing dimensional
drawing.
Replacement element grades:
P = Prefilter,
X = General Purpose,
Y = Oil Removal,
A = Activated Carbon.
Filter elements are sold separately.

Compressed Air Filter Element Grades
Keltec replacement filter elements are available in four filtration grades. Selecting the correct
grade depends on the contaminant being removed and the required compressed air quality.

Grade P – Prefilter
Grade P elements provide 5-micron prefiltration and are commonly used as the first stage of
compressed air filtration to remove larger particulate contamination.
Grade X – General Purpose
Grade X elements provide 1-micron general-purpose filtration and are designed for applications
requiring finer particulate and aerosol removal.
Grade Y – Oil Removal
Grade Y elements provide 0.01-micron filtration with a maximum listed oil carryover of
0.01 ppm for applications requiring high-efficiency oil aerosol removal.
Grade A – Activated Carbon
Grade A activated carbon elements are intended for applications requiring very low residual
oil vapor and odor levels after upstream particulate and coalescing filtration.
- Grade A elements are not recommended for continuous operation in oil-saturated conditions.
- The typical maximum replacement interval for Grade A elements is six months of operation.
- Grade A activated carbon elements do not remove carbon monoxide (CO) or carbon dioxide (CO₂).
Compressed Air Flow Correction Factors
Housing flow capacities are rated at 100 PSIG. When operating pressure differs
from 100 PSIG, multiply the listed housing flow rate by the applicable correction factor below.

Compressed Air Filter Housing Information
- Filter housings are suitable for use with common mineral and synthetic compressor oils.
- Pressure differential indicators are standard on applicable housing models.
- CAH0058 uses a pop-up style differential pressure indicator.
- Replacement filter elements are purchased separately from the filter housing.
- CAH0888, CAH1065, and CAH1300 are obsolete housing models and are retained here for reference only.
Selecting the Correct Compressed Air Filter Housing
When selecting a compressed air filter housing, consider required airflow, operating pressure,
NPT connection size, filtration grade, and acceptable pressure drop. Correct housing and element
sizing helps maintain compressed air quality while minimizing unnecessary pressure loss.
