Product Overview
The Flexaust T-7 SR is a super reinforced black thermoplastic rubber coated fabric hose with a spring steel wire helix, built to deliver higher positive pressure capability and improved puncture, tear, and abrasion resistance versus non-reinforced thermoplastic rubber hoses., making it a preferred choice for higher positive-pressure industrial conveying applications.
Size, Temperature, and Length Specifications
- Size range (inside diameter): 2" to 18" (standard maximum inside diameter is 12"; consult sales for larger sizes and minimums)
- Standard lengths: 25 ft and 50 ft (14" and above in 25 ft only)
- Temperature range: -50°F to 325°F intermittent (standard maximum temperature 285°F)
- Wall thickness: 0.020"
Construction and Features
- Thermoplastic rubber coated super reinforced woven polyester fabric with spring steel wire helix
- Combines thermoplastic rubber ozone/UV/weathering/chemical resistance with fabric tensile strength and fatigue resistance
- Better tear strength, puncture, and abrasion resistance than traditional reinforced woven neoprene and thermoplastic hoses
- Handles higher positive pressures than non-reinforced thermoplastic rubber hoses
- Available with factory-installed 2" black soft cuffs
