What Does ISO VG 100 Mean?
ISO VG 100 identifies the lubricant's ISO viscosity grade and is used to classify
industrial oils according to their kinematic viscosity at 40°C.
The ISO VG designation describes viscosity only. It does not identify the base
fluid chemistry, additive system, compressor compatibility, or recommended
service interval.
ISO VG 100 Compressor Oil Types
ISO VG 100 compressor lubricants may be available in several formulations
depending on the compressor and application, including:
- Mineral-based compressor oils
