What Does ISO VG 100 Mean?

  ISO VG 100 identifies the lubricant's ISO viscosity grade and is used to classify   industrial oils according to their kinematic viscosity at 40°C.

  The ISO VG designation describes viscosity only. It does not identify the base   fluid chemistry, additive system, compressor compatibility, or recommended   service interval.
